Getting to the Summit
By Air
Most attendees will fly into Houston and then travel to Galveston. The closest major airport is William P. Hobby Airport (HOU), about 40-45 miles from Moody Gardens and roughly a 45-50 minute drive. George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) offers more international and long-haul options and is about 65-70 miles away, typically 75-90 minutes by car.
By Car
From either airport, take Interstate 45 South toward Galveston Island and exit 61st Street. Turn right on 61st Street and continue to Seawall Blvd, then turn right on Seawall and continue to 81st Street. Turn right on 81st, which becomes Jones Road, then turn left on Hope Blvd and follow the Moody Gardens signage to the summit venue.
By Shuttle
Galveston Limousine runs a Summit Shuttle between both Houston airports and Moody Gardens, so you can skip the rental car. Service connects Hobby (HOU) and Bush Intercontinental (IAH) directly to the resort. Fares are $50 per person one way and $100 round trip, with private car service available at $210 one way from Hobby and $250 from Bush. Book online in advance with your flight details, and plan to be at the pickup point 10 minutes before departure.
