The story behind the voice
Claire Magee Ferguson is vice president, assistant general counsel, and senior technology counsel at Gray Media, which owns television stations in 117 markets across the United States. She started in television more than two decades ago as a runner for NBC News and a master control intern at News 12 Long Island, and after Boston College and Georgetown University Law Center she moved into broadcast law, serving as counsel for NPR, Allbritton Communications, POLITICO, and Raycom Media. Today she coordinates Gray's AI policy work and sits on its Innovation Lab, focused on AI and ATSC 3.0. She is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
